 As Lightning Strikes

As lightning strikes
Outside my windows,
The thunder claps
As the winds blow.

No rain pours down
From the darkened skies,
Al I see
Is flickers of light.

Then all of a sudden
The rain does come,
It drips, then pours
Violent, it becomes.

A clap of thunder
Then flashes of light,
What else will happen
Throughout this night?

The light of the computer screen
Suddenly goes out,
Lightning struck close
Thought the computer was wiped out.

It was quite the scare
On this stormy night,
Watching the rain fall
As lightning strikes.

I would have wrote this on the 7th of June, but it's kind of hard, when your puter is down.
