The poor little groundhog
Is confused this year,
He sees a shadow on one side, none on the other
He sheds many tears.

Over the Christmas holidays
He gained a lot of weight,
Pigging out on chocolates and pies
He can't get over, how much he ate.

He hoped to make people happy
By letting them know, when spring will come,
But instead, he got hissed at
While nibbling on cookie crumbs.
