 Flames Of Wonder

Being wrapped in their warmth
Flames of wonder surround me,
They leave a sparkle in my eyes
As tears fall gently.

The heat licks my bare skin
Ever so softly,
For I sit here missing you
The flicker keeps me company.

I look into the flame
And think of days gone past,
I am consumed with desire
By thinking our love would last.

Flames of wonder keep me company
When I am sadly missing you,
Wondering if you're seeing the same thing
And missing me too.
