I'm Stuck

I sit here
With pen and paper in my hand,
There's a big problem
I'm sure you'll understand.

Starting off with
Another new year,
My brain becomes
Extremely slow
Now listen up here.

I write down the date
As I start writing on this blank sheet,
But.....
Instead of 2005
I'm stuck in 2004, now you all see.
