Too Many Foolish Dances

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Too many foolish dances,
Throwing caution to the wind,
Caught off guard in a moment,
And carried away on the words of a song,
Tonight is not the time,
Nor is it the place for a doubting heart,
So I take my leave of it,
For a while,
And place myself in a golden memory,
Of yesteryear,
And I am with him,
I see the honesty in his eyes,
I see the love in his heart,
And he smiles,

I trust completely this man,
For he would do nothing to harm me,
I am in awe of him,
For he has touched my soul,
Like no other,
And tonight,
Within this golden moment,
I recall,
How much I love him so.
