Here Lies My Heart

Here lies my heart
Shattered and broken,
Many unpenned words
Left to be spoken.

I see things around me
That need to be put into words,
Lately though, it seems
My vision has been blurred.

I should be happy
Being a published author and all,
But days are rough
Do nothing, but let me fall.

I think it's time
To get back to the grindstone,
Pen words I have left behind
If only the darkness, will leave me alone.
