Faith

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I sat upon a step and hugged my knees,
I'm just a child, no more than seven years,
All quiet, but for the rustling of the breeze,
Alone, with silly childhood thoughts and fears,

But Grandad said, “though gone, I'll still remain,
You'll find me on a cloud that passes by,
I will be near, I'll hear you call my name,
And wipe away the many tears you'll cry,

I'll pick up all your troubles one by one,
And watch you growing taller day by day,
And when your faith is tested, all but gone,
I'll shine a light to guide you on your way”.

In troubled times he helped me see it through,
I simply asked; what would he have me do?
