My Fingers Stumble

I try to let my fingers do the walking
But, they always take a tumble,
Skipping over the letters on the keyboard
I laugh, when they stumble.

I try to write my words
But, I never double check,
Time to smarten these fingers up
Or, they will have to get decked.

It must be too early in the morning
For me to type this fast,
My fingers stumble over the keys
But, my brain, thinks it's a blast.
