Birds fly through the skies
Looking for twigs and leaves,
I watch them fly to and fro
Sit there, silently.

Chirps of many birds
Linger in the spring air,
Fighting over the best material
As others fly elsewhere.

Nests being destroyed
By strangers from above,
Twigs and leaves lay all over the ground
Of a nest, made from love.
