You saved my life
when I was drowning,
I wasn't aware anymore
of my surroundings.

I went under water
two, three, four times,
you were there to save me
as I write you this rhyme.

No one could hear
my frightning cries,
but you heard me
and saved my life.

I owe you my life
my young brother,
I love you so much
I couldn't ask for no other.

My two brothers and myself were involved in pioneer groups while we were younger. We went on a day trip to a park. I happened to jump into water that was over my head and at that time I couldn't swim all that good. My oldest brother saved my life. I am forever indebted to him.
