Reaching Out 
I'm sitting on a rugged rock,
And looking out to sea,
It's late, the sun is setting,
Do you sit and think of me?
The sight before me fills me,
With thoughts of love for you,
I'm where I want to be right now,
It's time to think things through,
This special place has called me home,
I'm here; it's where I'll stay,
A place where you will find me,
In a quiet secluded bay,
I watch the sunlight settle,
It reaches out to me,
A golden beam shines brightly,
On a calm and endless sea,
I look towards a dappled sky,
To somewhere in the blue.
I send my thoughts,
They wing their way,
I'm reaching out to you.
