Four Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan
Were killed over the weekend,
The flag on Parliment Hill, still flies high
To many Canadians, this does offend.
Since Stephen Harper became Prime Minister
Everything has changed,
He's been breaking promises
Must have been something that was prearranged.
I say bring the flag down at half mast
Remember those that were lost,
The families shouldn't have to wait until November
They shouldn't have to pay for the cost.

Parents, wives and or husbands, shouldn't have to wait until the end of the year, to mourn for their loved ones. It's not right. I say, let that flag be lowered and let the families grieve.
