The Forest Is Quiet

Walking around the park
Hand in hand with you,
We stroll through the woods
Like we always do.

Freshly fallen snow from last night
Covers a wide variety of trees,
I feel a small wetness on my nose
Little flakes, blow in the soft breeze.

I stop to look around
Not a sound is heard,
The forest is quiet
Let's just stand here and not speak a word.
