The O.P.P.
The O.P.P.
Shot and killed
An unarmed, innocent protestor.
The Aboriginal peoples
Of Ontario
Were extremely peeved off.
The man who was shot
Didn't do anything wrong,
He pulled a moon a few times,
But didn't have to get killed over it.
The family of the slain man
Were arrested,
When they took their brother
To the hospital.
They were thrown in jail
And were charged of attempted murder.
Later on that night
Into the wee morning hours,
Another brother
Had shown up at the jail
And told the sister and brother
Of the slain man
That their brother was dead.
The O.P.P
Didn't do anything
To help get the brother
To the hospital
To have his life saved.
How can the police department
Be so negligent?

I had just watched a documentry about Dudley George. He was gunned down in the province of Ontario. He died in 1995. He was a protestor, trying to get the land back that was sacred burial site.
