White Tail Deer

White tail deer
in the park,
they were eating
before it got dark.

People stopped
to glance at them,
so very beautiful
I think one grinned.

Peace and quiet
all around,
eating bread slices
off the ground.

A quick flick of their tail
and they were gone,
time to get some sleep
before tomorrow's dawn.
