Two Birthdays In A Row

I've been up since
six thirty this cold
snowy and rainy morning,
I got the kids all ready for scool
my oldest daughter had come back
from waiting at the bus stop.

I figured the buses were
going to be an hour late,
because the roads are icy....
I happened to turn
the radio on to listen
to the school bus report.

Low and behold,
schools are cancelled,
woo hoo
two birthdays in a row
I get to keep them home
to share the entire day
with me.
