The way He was treated
Was very inhumane,
He was arrested for crimes
He didn't commit
In the darkest of night.

He was whipped
To a bloody pulp,
As the flesh was being
Ripped from His body.

He was put on parade
While being tortured through town,
He was spat upon,
Being stoned with rocks,
He was betrayed,
He was denied.

His life was being
Stolen from Him,
As His mother's eyes
Began to swell with tears.

He was hung upon
The Cross that He
Beared upon His back,
It held His final end.

He was displayed
Like a trophy,
On the hill that
Was His final resting place.

He was one very brave man
In my eyes,
To go through all He
Went through to be
Crucified for our sins.

I wrote this, after watching "Passion Of The Christ."
I do not support the movie. People shouldn't be paying to see Christ die on the cross. It's sickening.
