Go, Flames, Go!
I'm counting on the team
To bring the cup back to Canada,
It's game number seven
Being played against Tampa.
The puck goes left
The puck goes right,
Canada won't give up
Without a fight.
Just a few minutes
Into the game,
There a Power Play goal
For Tampa Bay.
Players on both teams
Get checked into the boards,
Smarten up Calgary,
Tampa Bay got another score.
The player faked left
Then faked right,
He shot the puck
With all his might.
Tampa Bay is up
Two to Zero,
Go, Flames, Go
Be Canada's hockey heroes.
Ten minutes and thirty-nine seconds left
Players still being slammed into the boards,
Woo Hoo
Calgary scores!
Go, Flames, Go
Tie up the game,
Canada's getting excited
For the team Flames.
The time counts down
The final seconds are up,
Tampa Bay Lightning
Wins The Stanley Cup!
