Tadapoles

Playing in the water
Under the hot summer sun,
"Look tadpoles
I caught one."

"Can you catch me
A tadapole mommy?"
Darn, that one got away
Isn't that funny.

They lay under the water
On the beach bed,
I think all these tadapoles
Have gone to my little boy's head.

I caught a tadpole
And let him touch one,
While playing in the water
Under the hot summer sun.
