Her Name Is Ivy 
She fills my world,
With poetry,
And little bits of prose,
She writes me,
Words of wisdom,
She shares,
Her highs, her lows,
She makes me smile,
On cloudy days,
She fills my life,
With fun,
And you can bet,
I bless the day,
Our friendship,
Had begun,
And though,
I've never met her,
I feel I know her well,
She's had a taste of heaven,
She's had her share of hell,
Contented in her garden,
With her china cups of tea,
Sits down to write a letter,
Instils serenity,
And there are times,
She moves me,
With carefully,
Crafted rhyme,
The woman's name is Ivy,
A special friend of mine.
