hi!
I am Jasmine.
I'm 18 years old. I'm a student, a teacher, a musician and (very recently a poet hehe!). I'm a senior in highschool. I plan to go to Truman state university on a full scholarship but i've also applyed and been accepted to a few other schools (just so i can brag about it hehe!)
in short I am generally a good girl. I get good grades I have a clean record I go to church more than most people my age and I've never been on a date. Just a total goody-goody.
but that's ok!
I'm also somewhat of a geek. I like to play chess i'm on the computer all the time I'm in band and i'm in the teacher's club. yup! total geek.
But i'm proud of it. itz the geeks who make a difference in the world! lol! at least I'm a cute charming geek!
I'm also a devout christian. I love jesus. I'm totally into things having to do with god. but I often question him. I don't think god minds tho. He didn't make intellegent people just so they can ignorantly accept everything thier told. having faith and being gullible are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS! I try to be openminded about all things. music, literature, religion life phylosophys ect. In the end I want to decide what I believe and not have some one tell me.

hmmmm...news for today....
- i got my cap and gown for graduation. looks good!!!
- scored a I division at solo and ensemble fest! YAY!!
- trying out for the Dr. Otunga Scholarship. hope i get it!
- car broke down :-( itz gone forever!!!!
wrote a new poem...check it out!!!! itz called "words are not enough"
try to guess what itz about.
