WELCOME TO MY HEART!
Adriana is my name
but people call me Dri (Dree).
I used to be Dri Cook as a tribute to someone
I loved the most in my life, but now
I'm trying to be just me, just Dri.
I'm just an ordinary woman,
a Christian, with a zest for life,
a passion for writing,
and as I say in one of my poems:
"I simply am,
that's why I write,
and that's also why I am."
English is not my mother language.
Actually I was born in Brazil and it's
where I'm located right now.
I started writing after I had my heart
broken in thousands of pieces and I chose to
pick them up and keep on going, instead of
fading away. I had all the reasons in the world to do so but I chose to live. Life is always a magnificent journey that we should not be afraid to explore. Believe God and be thankful to Him for being alive, even and especially when your life does not make sense at all.
