Hi, my name is Vicki and I started writing poetry when I was 15 yrs old. I got started in English Literature. Thank goodness for that teacher, Mrs. Meyers, who encouraged me to keep writing. My first poem was a dedication to a favorite teacher. The poem was "To My Favorite Band Director".
I recently turned 41 and still write when I have the chance or the mood strikes me. I always have paper in my purse at work....ya just never know....
I write about love, love lost or my fanatasy of what it must be like to be totally in love with someone and they with me...been married and divorced twice, neither for love. I know my soulmate is out there, but he'll have to find me now.
