Drowning (part 2)

Dusk was falling upon us, but we
didn't have a care in the world.
Sarah and Jennifer (two of my friends), wanted to
go back into the water.

"Don't you think it's getting a little too dark for that?" I asked.

"Nah, you know how much we love the water," they said.

Ever since I was a child,
I remember being terrified of water at night.
I still get a weird feeling
just thinking about it.
I always think something bad
is going to happen.

They went into the water,
not taking heed to my warning.
They were laughing and joking around
and having lots of fun.
Two more of my friends went into the water.
