Precious today
Precious Today
Written 8/9 /1995
Today I awaken, a new day has dawned.
No stronger am I than the day gone by.
Today holds new trials of it's own.
I made it through yesterday,
Now caught here in today.
Faith in the salvation of God ,
Brought the saving of my house yesterday,
So, one day at A time,
I'll put my trust in thee.
Each day God's love reaches out,
With daylight to kiss the earth.
Yesterday is forever gone.
Today, my Lord has made.
Tomorrow is only my dream.
I will rejoice and be glad,
For in but A moment,
This earth suit could fail,
Then I'd stand to give an account,
For all my days gone by.
