Day Uncertain
Day uncertain
written 5/ 14/ 97
This morning I awoke, in wonder of the day.
Not sure of tomorrow, thankful for today.
Thanks ring in my heart.
What today holds God only knows.
One thing certain, God hears those who weep.
Remember, God rides the winds.
The earth turns, life comes and goes.
The sun shines, stars fade at her light.
Power to rule the day she holds.
One might say, is life certain?
No, only precious while in hand.
Whisper a prayer, God may call your name.
Where will you be?
Ready to give an account, we must stand.
Tomorrow may be your dream,
Today may your last.
God only knows, he holds it in his hands.
