Morning Light
Morning Light
written 8/14/99
As I lay upon my bed,I give thanks for the day that's passed.
As I sleep,angels wake me with the morning. light.
Watch my feet ,where they trod.
Let me walk with God this day.
Open my ears,that I might here,
Thy guiding words of life.
Let not these lips be shut, but witness of thy love.
Open my eyes that I might see,needs of others through the day.
Fold my hands in precious prayer,to pray for others all around.
As daylight passes, night come once more,angels guard me.
Wake me with the morning light.
