Memories

The memories of days gone by
The kids were little, and how I laughed so hard, I thought I would die
I really miss her, why did she have to leave and say goodbye
No longer able to cope, I began to cry

The light seemed to make the picture glow
And I could see all the colors of the rainbow
Green, blue, indigo, violet, red, orange, and yellow
She was raking leaves while I was filling the wheel barrow
~
I was lucky to have even a day
Let alone the whole month of May
And the preceding year, Oh GOD I miss you Kaye
I hope you are happy, and get to laugh everyday
