YARDSALE

Drawer....Frost....WINGS.

I was having a yard sale finances were tight
It was to start tomorrow we assembled it on the tables
We knew it was supposed to frost during the night
We had everything outside under tarps

We hoped we could make some extra money
An antique chest of drawers and misc. furniture
So on the wings of prayer we hoped for the day to be sunny
First thing in the morning people would gather

I heard voices; the early birds were already here
I just woke up, I wasn't dressed, and I started the coffee,
I yelled “I will be right out,” they yelled back “ok, dear”
When I saw the lady in a bright yellow sun dress

She helped me remove the tarp covering everything
She asked “if she might have a cup of coffee”
She said “I collect butterfly things”
I showed her 3 different ones

She said “she would buy the 3”
But she wanted to shop some more
When we were all alone she asked “you don't remember me?”
I shook my head; she laughed and said “it's Jules from high school”

We chatted about old times while we did business
It got late; I told her ‘she could stay the night”
We hugged and kissed with intimate tenderness
Until intimate became passion and desire and lust

Smile :)~
