Picture,starting over,back

She handed me a picture of Lou
Said “did you know she was back
After she broke up with Drew
Apparently she had to go find herself“
After she went thru her own set of blahs and blues
She went from 1 bed to another

And now she is back in town
Wonder how many hearts she will break
Did you ever see her in her black evening gown?
I couldn't keep my eyes off her
“We dated” I said with a frown
Everything was great, wonderful, and fantastic
*
I never laughed so much
Or cried so often
I still feel her kisses, I loved her so much
She promised to always be there
She had such a soft loving touch
She just called, I said “no to us starting over”
*
Burn me once, but never twice
