Unrested
Walking in, seeing you across the room,
I walk fast to be by your side,

But when I get there you have walked away.
I wait all night, just to get near you again.
~
Gawd, this is a crummy party,
But I will wait !!
~
To get near you one more time
Finally the night is over
~
The last guest has gone home
Locking up, and cleaning up
~
Then looking for you,
But, you're no where in sight
~
I finish my chores,
And smelling your scent,
~
I walk to it, but your inside this door
Just then you call out my name,
~
I scream YES,
I wake, and look around, I cry,
~
You're not here
Your have left me I fear
~
And then I hear,
Your laughter, once again,
~
And smiling
I jump out of the bed, opps i slip
Bang my head
~
And fall passed out on the floor
When I come to,
~
I don't understand why I fell,
And why I feel , so confused
~
I sigh as you bend over to kiss me,
And pick me up and put me in your bed
~
Careful not to touch my sore head,
we lay there and press our lips together,
~
Feeling your body against mine
I kiss you,
~
Drinking wine from your lips,
I smile and softly kiss you back
~
Slowly rolling my hips
To be as close to you as can be
~
As you touch my chin
And pull me to your lips again
~
My body shudders and I cry out
I love you and then I sigh
~
Cause your not here, and that is why
I have such dreams, want your loving
~
My tears starting to stream
Down my face
~
Will I ever get some rest?
I can't get you out of my mind
~
I'm missing you shaunna
Its you, I want and I must find
~
Help me get out this grind
I say a prayer to lead me to you
~
Cause darn, I really do
Yes I love you, its true
~
I can't toss and turn all the time
I Need some sleep
~
But maybe you can hear me call
And I yell your name till I fall,
~
Back asleep!!!
