Went to the florist to buy you a rose
Here I am writing about it in my prose

They didn't have much today,
I was disappointed
~
So I went to the grocery store
Ordered you a rose
~
They dye them any color
So I had them make me a rose
It's red blending to white
~
I could have got a thorn less rose,
The nicest roses are thorned anyway
Or as you say to me everyday
No pain no gain
~
Oh wow! It's the prettiest rose
I have ever seen!
~
It's all the colors of red to white
I had them dye it just for me to give you
~
I hope you're coming over Friday
Will you come to me?
~
Well sweetie I hope you like the rose
Looking forward to seeing you
~
The rose is your invitation
To me and dinner, and sweet lovin'
~
You'll see.... dinner will be served 7pm
Anxiously waiting …Call me tonight
