Ding-a ling-a-ling

It's the ice cream truck

~

The kids come running from everywhere

My kids want ice cream, so I went to the truck

~

This is what happened: just my luck

I wanted a fudgesicle, and a nutty bar

~

And for me I would like Eskimo pie

But, when I got there wow!! It wasn't a guy!

~

not ice cream man at all

She was tall, she was sweet

~

She knocked me off my feet

I couldn't remember anything at all

~

She said can I help you?

In my mind, I was saying,

~

Yes, oh yes! oh gaud yes, you can

But, nothing came out of my mouth

~

Time stood still, my mouth ajar

My eyes taking pictures

~

My mind was recording the event

And still I said "nothing",

~

She was beautiful; she was pretty as can be

She told me all the flavors

~

But, I couldn't hear

She showed me a board,

~

With them written on it, but I couldn't see

What's wrong me?

~

She smiled at me

I handed her my money

~

Said "please would you

Be so kind as to

~

Tell me your name

Please, I'll do the same

~

You're so beautiful,

So breathtaking, so lovely,

~

Could I ask you a question?

And not have you hate me?

~

Would it matter to you at all?

If I said, you can call?

~

She smiled and said,

"Sure, give me your number",

~

You can have mine too"

So now you know.

~

'cause

She is the ice cream sweetie,

On my street
