Little Wood Frog

Little wood frog
Hopping through the leaves,
Please don't hop
Around my wet feet.

I don't want to step on you
Trying to keep you safe from harm,
You deserve to live, as much as I do
Your tiny little body and your little arms.

Let me pick you up
I promise, I won't hurt you,
I'll let you go for now
We'll meet again, we two.

It was the cutest little thing. It wasn't any bigger than my thumb nail.
