 Coo Coo

It was about midnight

They were singing

Heard them singing so slight

~

Two turtle doves out in a tree

It was pleasant night

I walked bare-footed to see

~

Under the moonlight

To hear them sing,

It was quite a sight

~

Songs of their love

Way up there

In the old oak tree up above

~

When my life is hard

I love to visit them

I am glad, there out in my yard

~

I relax and I chill

Sip some wine I watch and listen

Never getting my fill

~

Yes the Turtledoves

The moonlight and me bare footed

On a midnight stroll now I will sleep

~

So I enter my bed

Carefully laying

Down my head
