Falls, The

Waterfalls, eternity, eyes

~

We were sight seeing the Tahqanamon falls

We took a boat ride up the river

On board we listened mother natures calls

~

Fragrances and sound

A beautiful scenic ride

We were falls bound

~

We came up stream to the lower falls

A picture of loveliness, to fill your eyes

The mist and spray, got us when we went under the falls

~

But behind the down spray, a serene setting

Untouched by humans

Been this way all eternity, I am betting

~

We smiled at each other from across the room

Motioned for her to join me

As she walk up close, I recognized her perfume

~

We watched the water pouring down

She smiled and said, I know you,

Oh you mean from town

~

She said yes from school

I was the surprised, she hadn't been social

She was standing there, looking sweet, I felt like a fool

~

I smiled and tried to walk away

Saying it was nice to see you again

She took my hand, And said stay

~

I did, we did, what a lovely day

Travel way up north to meet an old school friend

You just never know, come what may
