Perchance

Dinner, lips, nylons

I am going to dinner, to dance

With a girl i met just

perchance

It was New Years Night

I met a girl from Virginia

She was the prettiest sight

~

Her lips on mine

So succulent so sweet

Made me forget the wine

~

My eyes loved her legs in nylons

Smile the ball was falling

Noise makers and balloons

~

When we kissed it wasn't midnight

But wow the fireworks went off

Couldn't leave, stayed the night

~

Turned off the TV

We stayed in each other's love

She was so lovely

~

We hugged and kissed

And held each other tight

If she leaves, she will be missed

~

But i will have known a real goodness

An angel in my arms
