Missed

Sunshine-flower-ring

~

I heard her at the door

I couldn't see her for the sunshine

She handed me a single flower

And a bottle of wine

~

I couldn't believe my eyes

She said she might stop by

My moan, my gasps, my sigh

~

On her finger

She wore my ring

Memories starting to linger

Memories of a past fling

~

I grabbed her and held her tight

We hugged and kissed

Everything is gonna be all right

Now she knows she has been missed
