My Little Yarn
She said, "You're under arrest!"
She grabbed me and shoved me against the wall
Frightful I said, "Surely you jest?"
Her body pressed against mine. Oh! She was tall!

She said, "You know why
This is happening to you?"
She gave out a gracious sigh
"Oh! Damn it! I love you!! "

I asked , "So, who are you?"
Smiling, she took off her hat
Removed her glasses, and I knew
It was Kat!
~
Why the scheme, the duplicity?
Couldn't you just let me know?
You wanted to see me,
With maybe a friendly hello?
