In Her Arms

Heat.... simple..... flower

~

Walking in from the cold,

So nasty and wet,

Feeling less than bold.

~

Needing to get warmed,

Around the fireplace,

We all swarmed.

~

I didn't know HEAT,

Till we let our lips meet,

Kissin' her was sweet.

~

She was lovely, too,

If I had only known,

What I needed to do.

~

I made it complicated,

And it was so simple,

Wished I had not waited.

~

With her I felt the power,

Of love and caring,

She was such a lovely flower.

~

She hugged and kissed me,

Warmed me clear thru,

I kissed her back softly.

~

To each other hearts we grew,

And in each others arms,

Who knew?
