 My Shadow's Abusive

I walked up to a wall one day
My shadow stood there,
I can swear it was laughing at me
Because I had messy hair.

I tried to comb it down
And my shadow did the same,
Then it pulled my hair real hard
At that moment, I felt so ashamed.

I tried to walk away
Noticed my shadow was following me,
It knocked me down to the ground
It wouldn't let me be.

I thought I heard a snicker
Coming from behind,
I always thought my shadow
Was a friend of mine.

My shadow is a curse I tell ya
The crap it puts me through,
One of these days my shadow will get it
It won't be ME that's black and blue.

I sat on the ground and sobbed
Felt like a little baby,
I really do get annoyed
When my shadow abuses me.
