Housework

So many things to do
In so little time,
Not stopping long enough
To write a small rhyme.

Laundry to do
Kids to bath up,
Homework to get done
Wash dirty cups.

Here and there
Running around,
I feel quite worn out
Time to slow down.

Night time is here
Time to rest,
Glad the kids are in bed
They were beginning to be pests.
