I Should Be Happy
I should be happy
I have family and friends,
Everyone gives me a shoulder to cry on
Being surrounded by people, on them, I can depend.
I have pets here too
They remind me of spring,
It helps to pass the time away
Just sitting and listening to them sing.
I have a newborn niece
So gentle and sweet,
Lord, help me get out of this depresssion stage
Help make my days bright again and complete.
