Wind Storm

Temperature dips down
The wind blows trees,
Snow starts blowing in
Everything starts to freeze.

Windows are rattling
Heat has to be cranked out,
Hoping we don't lose power
I know now, what the winter is about.

Same thing for tomorrow
There's a chill in the air,
The wind never ceases
We all have to stay aware.
